"'Entertainment Weekly' is reporting that Cameron Diaz is considering an offer to play the female lead in The Green Hornet, opposite Seth Rogen.
The magazine says a deal hasn't been sealed yet, but that she is in early talks for the role.
Michel Gondry is set to direct the film based on a script by Rogen and his writing partner Evan Goldberg. Columbia Pictures is planning a July 9, 2010 release."
Good to see Cameron Diaz is making a return to comedy especially since she delved into extreme drama (My Sister's Keeper) and extreme horror (The Box). By the way, Rogen and Goldberg wrote the hit Superbad. Could this spell success for them again?
