JOE DIRT rides again

From ComingSoon.net:

"David Spade has cut a deal with TBS to develop an animated series based on the character from his 2001 feature, Joe Dirt. The project is produced through Sony Pictures TV and Happy Madison Productions. TBS has been hunting for original animated properties that it can pair with 'Family Guy' reruns, which are a big draw for the comedy-oriented cabler.

'Joe Dirt' revolves around a loveable loser who sports a mullet and has a passion for muscle cars. Script for the smallscreen 'Joe Dirt' will be written by Spade, Fred Wolf and Donick Carey ('The Simpsons'). Spade and Wolf co-wrote the 'Joe Dirt' feature for Columbia Pictures and Happy Madison. Happy Madison's Doug Robinson will exec produce with Spade, Wolf and Carey."

Now, if David Spade does the voice of Joe, I will be watching this show. If not, maybe not.

By the way, this is post #500 - in honor of Joe Dirt, "DAAAANNNNNNGGGG!!!"
