Leonardo DiCaprio is Jack Frost

From ComingSoon.net:

"DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. announced today that Leonardo DiCaprio will make his animated feature film debut when he headlines the cast of the studio's November 2, 2012 release, The Guardians (working title) as Jack Frost.

DiCaprio is the first actor announced for The Guardians, which is produced by Christina Steinberg and Nancy Bernstein, and directed by Peter Ramsey.

When an evil spirit called Pitch becomes bent upon taking over the world by inspiring fear in the hearts of kids everywhere, a group of our greatest heroes -- Santa, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman and Jack Frost -- band together for the first time, determined to stand in Pitch's way. More than a collection of storybook subjects, 'The Guardians' are also a band of superheroes, who possess their own special powers. Now joined in opposition of a common foe, the Guardians heed the call and combine their powers to defeat Pitch and protect the world from his campaign of fear.

The film is based on 'The Guardians of Childhood,' a series of highly anticipated books by William Joyce."

I guess I can buy this. Bout time Leo decided to do something funny. Let's hope his Jack Frost doesn't come out looking like Martin Short in The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause:

Leonardo DiCaprio is in THE TWILIGHT ZONE

From ComingSoon.net:

"Warner Bros. and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way are moving ahead on a Twilight Zone movie, hiring Rand Ravich to write a script based on the iconic TV series.

Ravich's feature credits include directing The Astronaut's Wife and exective producing Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. He also created NBC's detectiv series, 'Life'.

The original 'Twilight Zone' series ran for five seasons starting in 1959 on CBS, with Rod Serling creating the series and writing more than half of the 156 episodes. Steven Spielberg and John Landis produced and directed segments for the 1983 WB feature film Twilight Zone: The Movie."

Let me guess, Leo's gonna do the Rod Serling role in introducing the movie. Not that I'm against that, but you can see it coming.

Here's a version of the famous original intro voiced by Rod Serling himself (and would it really not have the creepy theme music?):
