"Variety is reporting that Disney is producing a Tron animated series. It will be titled, 'Tron: Uprising'. The series is scheduled to air in Summer, 2012.
Disney XD will be the hosting channel. The series will be executive produced and directed by Charlie Bean. The voice cast will include Elijah Wood, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Mandy Moore, Paul Reubens and Lance Henriksen, with Bruce Boxleitner reprising his role from the films as Tron.
'Tron: Uprising' will be proceeded by a previously announced Disney XD 10-episode Tron 'microseries', which will air fall 2011."

TANGLED strings up a trailer!

"Walt Disney Pictures has revealed the teaser trailer for Tangled. Directed by Byron Howard and Nathan Greno, the movie is voiced by Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy.
Opening on Nov. 24, Tangled is an action-packed, swashbuckling, animated musical comedy about the girl behind 70 feet of magical, golden hair. A princess stolen from her parents' castle as a baby, Rapunzel (Moore) is locked in a hidden tower longing for adventure Now an imaginative and determined teenager, she takes off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade with the help of a dashing bandit (Levi). With the secret of her royal heritage hanging in the balance and her captor in pursuit, Rapunzel and her cohort find adventure, heart, humor, and hair... lots of hair."

RAPUNZEL braids up a new cast!

"Mandy Moore will voice the title character in Walt Disney Pictures' Digital 3D-animated Rapunzel, while 'Chuck' star Zachary Levi has been cast as the voice of the bandit who finds himself on the road with the rebellious, teenage hair apparent.
Byron Howard and Nathan Greno will direct the film, inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Roy Conli is producing and Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin) will compose the film's music.
Rapunzel is scheduled for a holiday 2010 release.
The project was previously known as 'Rapunzel Unbraided', but Disney•Pixar chief creative officer John Lasseter started from scratch after he came on board.
The new version 'picks up with the princess, famous for her 70 feet of golden hair, after she's been stolen from her parents' castle as an infant and imprisoned. Now a teenager, Rapunzel escapes and goes on the run with a bandit as her captor pursues them.'"
I'll buy that. Zachary Levi is hilarious! But then again, Zacks/Zachs stick together.
