Laurence Mark (Julie & Julia, Jerry Maguire) is producing the movie.
Universal also distributes Mattel's animated Barbie movies.
Barbie general manager/Mattel senior vice president Richard Dickson and Barbie vice president entertainment Rob Hudnut will executive produce."
